Exploring Sustainable Business Strategies: How Multinational Enterprises Align Financial Success with ESG Compliance

Authors

Abstract

This study explores how multinational companies (MNEs) align sustainable business practices with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance to ensure long-term financial success. Through qualitative interviews with top executives of five MNCs, the research identifies some of the most important strategies that include carbon emissions reduction through renewable energy, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and governance reporting transparency. Findings indicate ESG adoption not only enhances profitability and resilience, as well as brand reputation and stakeholder trust, but also supports resilience and profitability. Despite challenges such as regulatory divergence and technological constraints, proactive change management and strategic innovation provide feasible options for ESG-aligned growth in global operations.
